Fall fishing at the Skeena River

27 Sep 2013, Posted by jkmd in Uncategorized

Autumn is in full swing and these days we are experiencing exceptional fishing for Silver salmon and Steelhead in our river system. The amount of fish coming up the main stream Skeena is fantastic and makes all kind of fishing exciting and very enjoyable. Weather is still fair and the water levels are perfect. The Northern Cohos are up to 20 pounds, bright chrome, give a heck of a fight and the dark red coloured meat is of a phenomenal taste. All the local tributaries are getting their fish now and it doesn’t look like it will end soon. So let’s have fun and enjoy it!
